This thread has been wildly popular over at NaNoWriMo, and the tradition needs to be carried on here at the Frenzy.

Traditionally, the Singles Lounge is not a 'meet market' but a place for single writers to commiserate their loneliness or to share in the jubilation with other singletons that know what they're going through.

Are you excited/ready for Script Frenzy? I'm writing a screenplay with the intentions of directing it as a no-budget indie film later this year. I'm a little bit nervous, but very excited, that they moved it up from June to April.

What are you writing? TV? Movie? Play?

In answer to your questions. I'm excited/not ready for the Frenzy. I installed Celtx the other day so there is no turning back now. I have one or two ideas taken from the plot generator on the main page.

That's cool that you intend to produce your script as a film later in the year. I wish I could do that, but I don't think that I'll be able to be done with no budget (lack of friends/camera/talent/the usual). I think that those who would invest would have no interest in a poorly written script.

April from June makes no difference to me. Its still 30days just earlier in the year. If it had of been june I might have finished my nano by then though.

It a movie for me, well so far. A comedy I think. Well, I'll be writing stuff that makes me laugh, whether it makes anyone else laugh is another thing entirely.

I have a lot of ideas, too, theanab. I've been attempting to take a mental break in my prep for Script Frenzy by going back to edit my NaNo, but I'm moving in a week and a half, so even that is getting put on temporary hold. At least the moving will be done before April 1st, so I will have the entire month without having to worry about packing, unpacking, fighting for computer time. It's going to be a good month.
