As a shameless Killers fangirl, I felt the need to start this topic after seeing them mentioned a couple times on here.

Killers fans, unite! Talk about anything...favorite album, song, live performance, whether Brandon should shave his mustache or not, which color blazer suits him best...

The first time I heard the Killers was when I was 13, and I was hanging out with friends. We randomly decided to start a Kool-Aid stand (yeah, we're weird) and my friend Melanie began blasting their CD. And dancing. In the middle of the street. While wearing a sign advertising our stand strapped to her body.

It was a blast. :D

Apparently I have one of their albums in WMA format. The only song that I really know of theirs is When you were young. It gets played a lot on Q radio (Digital radio station available on Freeview in the UK. Also available on the inteernet as Q4music, I think)

I'll have to listen to therest of the album and give my feedback, as I'm sure they're eager to hear what I have to say about their music.

Ooh I love The Killers. Bones was my song of Nano 2006 (which I didn't finish lol). I don't think I'm a fangirl as such as I don't actually know a whole lot about them but I have their Hot Fuss and Sam's Town albums (at least that's what I think they're called) and recently downloaded their version 2 video for Mr. Brightside off itunes and it's like my favourite music video now. :D

Yay! Have you heard any of their acoustic versions? When You Were Young and Sam's Town are amazing acoustic - with the piano, and....ahh they're just beautiful! I think they put an acoustic of Sam's Town (the song, not the whole album) on Sawdust as well. And on that note, has anyone got Sawdust? I highly recommend it. I'm *really* surprised some of the tracks didn't make it on the albums, but I guess they just didn't fit the rest of the songs. Anyway, it's amazing! Yay!!! (See the fangirl-ism starting to show?)

I love the Killers. Sam's Town is the soundtrack to my screenplay. :)

I first heard them my senior year of high school, right after their cd came out, and I swear to God Hot Fuss was in my CD player for eight months straight. I love it. In my head, "Midnight Show" is on my film's soundtrack.
