Hello my sophomore buddies. What are y'all writing about?

Anywho, I haven't yet decided whether I can't wait for April or not. Lucky for me, I know what I'm writing about at the plot is all there. I just need to make it into a screenplay. I'm doing mine on this year's drumline season for my school. It should be bundles of fun. AND this year I downloaded some script-writing software so I don't have to worry about formatting as much. I am a happy little sophomore.

I'm going to be writing a musical. It should be interesting...POTC meets The Sound of Music, that pretty much explains why its going to be so interesting.

I'm writing a steampunk screenplay, about two opposing countries, in constant war, who live in cities that fly. :)

I still have no idea what I'm writing about. But I am apparently writing with a partner this year... This will be interesting? Yikes. I'm nervous.

I'm sure I posted on that forum once or twice. Anyway, for people who did Screnzy last year, what do you all think of the new rules? Easier? Harder? Better? Worse?

I think Screnzy this year will be a lot easier. 100 pages seems easier than 20K, at least. I'm also not sure how it's going to work, because the difference in margins/fonts will make it inconsistent. Also, how will the wordcounter (well, pagecounter) count the number of pages?

I did NaNo in 2006 and 2007, and won both times, and Screnzy in 2007.

It'll be a bit worse because we're still in school this year, where at least last year we were at home..

And I looked at my movie on Celtx from last year, I wrote 21k and it was 112 pages. So it's not really all that big of a difference.... :/ I really hope to win this year though! I'm coming off of a NaNo win! =)

My screenplay last year was 20k and 150 pages, however there is the fact that I'll be in school this year. I think I can make it, though, 'cause I'm kinda cheating plot-wise. I don't have to come up with it myself, just remember it and come up with good dialogue.

So last year I was always up past midnight trying to finish. I hope that's not the case this year...

Am I the only soph here who didn't win NaNo or Screnzy ^^?

Two time NaNo participant and this will be my second year in the Frenzy, though I probably have a total word count of just over 1,000 total to show for it all. Not the most dedicated person. Hopefully I'll finally overcome that.

I have no idea what I'm writing about yet (didn't realize the month was moved until today, so yeah). I was considering a novel adaption, but I'm sure there's all kinds of copyright issues to overcome.
