Lexington: Kick-Off Party

Hello Kentuckians,

It's looking like the ideal weekend for the kick-off party will be the weekend of March 28-30 (Fri-Sun). I am willing to host this event in my home on any of these days, but I am also willing to go to an alternate location if the desire is leaning that way.

Last year one of our members suggested perhaps securing the big meeting room in the Beaumont Library, would this be of greater interest? We could also use other library locations, of course, as long as it is possible to have food in that particular meeting room.

Or we could go to a restaurant, but past kick-offs held in restaurants have not been very successful, due to the built-in cost of attending.

I am open to any suggestions any of you have.

Your scattered-but-trying ML,

Renee

RE: Lexington: Kick-Off Party

Right now that date is pretty up in the air, because Matt's schedule might change so that I can't host anything on the weekend. So if the weekend doesn't work out, what works for you? I'd love if you could make it.

RE: Lexington: Kick-Off Party

Well, I'd love to come to anything, but I've got two slight problems in that A) I'd have to get from Richmond to Lexington, and I don't have a car, and B) I've got dress rehearsals and performances of the Spring Opera that weekend/week.
But I'm going to (try) to write anyway - even if SF is happening at like, the absolute worst time of year for me. <3
