RE: Yee Ha!

Hello. Checking in and saying hello. I'm new to Script Frenzy. Wondering if, when and where anybody gets together for writing circles in the LA area.

RE: Yee Ha!

We do have some Write Outs in the planning... And hopefully after the Ides of March, I should have more time to organize things. Until then I'll think much of my time is going to be spent scrambling around trying to find money for my programs after the oh so wise Governator decided to cut 20% from our already skim budget.

Welcome!

RE: Yee Ha!

Hello, It's great to see a familiar name.

BTW, do you know why Chris moved this up to April? I am not gonna be able to catch my breath after EDMo. but I'm game and up for the challenge.

RE: Yee Ha!

I think it mainly had to do with a lot of complaints of students in the midst of Final Exams.

RE: Yee Ha! - Write Outs

Much like with Nanowrimo I'll be holding up the fort Saturdays and/or Sundays at the Solar De Cahuenga on Franklin and Cahuenga. I'll figure out the time closer to April, but I'm thinking around 5 or 6pm.

Sam
I love Solar. Let me know, I am in North Hollywood but will travel over the hill to go there.

RE: Yee Ha!

Greetings and salutations, omouse. I did NANOWRIMO back in October so I figure what the heck...let's try this one, too. Thing is, I'm not sure which idea I want to dive into. Guess I've still got time, right?

BTW, a short piece from a novella of mine that's being published this Fall is being read at The Celebration Theatre in Hollywood. On April 7th at 8pm. It's a night of performers and is free, though donations are very happily accepted. Check it out at www.celebrationtheatre.com/

RE: Yee Ha!

Hi, this is Shawn who also did NaNoWriMo. Is anybody planning on meeting in the San Fernando Valley? And not just write-outs; I think I may actually need to talk about my project with someone.

I also have no idea about what to write. I have a vague idea of a silent action movie but it would be good to have a plot or characters or something like that in mind.
