welcome to script frenzy '08! Wanted to give a shoutout to all the fine people of Denver who will be participating in the crazy contest this year.

Any newcomers to the fray? Any experienced writers from '07?

I'm new to Frenzy this year, so I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it will be as fun (is fun the right word?) as NaNo was (even though I still haven't finished that darn novel... yet).

Welcome to the fray, bbedlam. If you tackled NaNo, then you can do Script Frenzy. (Personally I find the idea of writing a book in a month WAY harder, so you should be fine). Any plans on finishing the novel? Got any great ideas for Frenzy yet?

This is my first time doing frenzy as well. I did NaNo with my school group and still have not finished my novel because i lost my flash drive and my story is on the so you see. My friends call me insane becasue i am in middle school and am trying to write things that are 50,000 words long.

Dude when I was in middle school I wrote an 80 page novella.
That's not insane, that's gifted.

Hello Everyone,
This is my first attempt at the 'Frenzy'. I've been tempted to go at Nanowrimo for a few years but always chicken out ^_^ and last year I found out about Script Frenzy in JUNE and chickened out again (are we seeing a theme?)! I have no idea what I want to write yet but I've always been a fan of modern fantasy and everyday heroes.

Well I wish everyone the best of luck and let the countdown begin... >D

Kudos for taking the plunge.
No worries on not having a plot (most frenziers don't actually, so you're in good company.) Modern fantasy and everyday heroes is a great place to start though!

Hi everyone!

I tried this last year and just missed the goal by a couple thousand words. But at least I had a good excuse... I went to Africa halfway through the month.

It's actually funny that this is taking place in April. Because last night (or maybe the night before), my roommate and I came up with a great idea for a script. I thought about waiting for Frenzy in the summer, but I won't have time. In fact, I wasn't even planning on doing it again. And then I get an email saying it's in April and I've got this wonderful/crazy idea so I'm here.

Hello, I'm a Script Frenzy newbie, but an experienced NaNo! I wasn't a NaNo winner in 2007 (I only made it to 10,000 words) but I'm not going to let that stop me. I'm not going to let the fact that I've never written a script before stop me either. I don't even have any ideas yet.

Somebody talk me out of this!!!

Also, I've volunteered to be ML for Denver so as soon as I get the word from Heather I'll start organizing weekly fun cram sessions for all us Screnziers in the area.
