Script frenzy brings it alive for me

This site always gets me working on a feature last year I managed to get up to 15,000 words then my computer got a virus so I gave up, after a tough year due to a lot of personal issues and so forth I am back this year read to role again with the same concept and story line in mind but my mind has been opened a bit more to the world. My screenplay is as follows, would love to know what anyone thinks to my idea:-

Title: Sleeping Before Tomorrow

The main character Steve Genfor is a bit of a pathetic insomniac, unemployed and is not very lucky with life in general. His brother on the other hand Jim Genfor a very successful business man who is also secretly experimenting on how to breed a successful race of super human like rat people by experimenting on his severly disabled sister. Along Steve Genfor's daily routine of job searching and stressing about life in general he comes across this amazing attractive girl who comes in a sort of coffe shop or something each day, eventually he gets the courage to talk to her and get to know her only to discover that she is a demented and sadistic robot made by his brother Jim Genfor as an evil ploy/trap to trick him into joining his sadistic super rat like human race.

A bit far fetched maybe? Would love any feedback on film idea?

It's definately out there but that's a good thing. If you haven't already I think you should watch the Big Lebowski. The slight comedic but still dark side of the Coens would suit it perfectly.

RE: Script frenzy brings it alive for me

Thanks a lot for the comment, I am not going to write this feature for script frenzy now I am instead doing it over time as its requiring a lot of research to get the feel I want just right. I am now writing 10 short films in the same kind of abstract style. You mentioned the coen brothers there thats exactly the kind of style I am aiming for but with a more British surreal kind of feel to it.
