Ok, I know. We're far from the Bay, but I'm at a loss as to where we fit in the limited areas offered for California.

I am from Oakland and will be there from time to time, but i reside in Merced (about an hour south of Modesto and an hour North of Fresno) for school.

Anybody have any idea where I should post?

Depends on where the people you relate to are ;) I'm a San Franciscan, but even if I lived in Davis or Sacramento, I'd still probably relate more to the Bay Area than Northern California. Maybe someone can suggest a "Central Valley" designation?

I'm in a similar situation. I'm in Reedley, just outside of Fresno. I posted in the "Inland Valley" section before realizing it covered Riverside and San Bernadino Counties.

I get over to the Bay area a couple of times a month. But it's about 4 hours from here. Of course, I just go as far as Dublin and then BART in because parking in The City is crazy. And being a small town girl, I hate hassling with traffic.

Maybe some central valley folk can piggyback on the Bay Area board.
