I'm super excited about Script Frenzy this year.
To all the script writers in the Antelope Valley, I'm your Municipal Liaison and I've already started planning some events for us this year.

I think we should have our kickoff Sunday March 30 in the evening. I'm open to suggestions for locations or times that work better for the group.

For those of you new to the Frenzy, our Kickoff is basically where we get to meet each other, discuss our ideas, and ask any questions you might have. Throughout April we'll have writeouts at least once a week so check back here often to get days and times.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to post them here or send me a private message.

The evening of Sunday, March 30 is good for me. If I have work, the latest I'd be at work is 7:30pm, but I won't know until Friday, March 29. I don't have any suggestions for locations, but where ever is cool for me.

Sunday is great for me because I don't have to work.

Also, hello! I HAVE TO finish this year, because I need the script to shoot my movie this summer. How's that for a deadline?

We still need to figure out a place to throw the kickoff. Anyone got any ideas?

Camille's Sidewalk Cafe is pretty friendly to us during both Nano and SF. Unless people are having church in the back room. Which may be very likely on a Sunday. There's also Panera (with locations in Palmdale and Lancaster!).

I would actually suggest the Lemon Leaf for the kick off party, but we're closed Sundays.

Ok. How about the Panera Bread in Lancaster at 6pm on Sunday March 30th? Does that work for everyone? Last year Camille's had a church group and kicked us out early on Sundays.
