Arlington Public Library (Texas) Graphic Novel Event

[Reposted here from Graphic Novel Shout-Out!]

If there's anyone in the North Texas area in this forum, I'm very happy to announce that the Arlington Public Library will be hosting an evening with graphic novel author/artist, Sonny Strait. His book, We Shadows, was published by Tokyopop in 2007 and was also nominated for YALSA's "Great Graphic Novels for Teens". Sonny will be talking about the creation process that goes into making a graphic novel. He has also participated in Scott McCloud's 24 Hour Comics Day, which I'm sure he'd be happy to answer questions about, as well.

The program will be on April 15th at the George W. Hawkes Central Library branch located on 101 E. Abram St in Arlington, TX 76010; it will start at 7:00 p.m. and run until 8:30.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
