Saturdays at 3pm to 6pm
and Sundays 7:30pm to much later

at the Solar de Cahuenga on Franklin and Cahuenga in Hollywood 90068.

Solar is very laptop friendly, free wi-fi.
Food isn't cheap, but not too bad... and, again, free wi-fi.
Plug wise, I think there are plenty, but bring a power strip to share the love.
Parking isn't so good, so leave time to circle the area a little bit.
But overall, a great place for a write in.

Solar is a great little place, they've got a small parking lot & during the day there's a good amount of street parking near by.

Free Wifi
there's 3 or 4 areas with plugs, including one power strip.
You'll see about a dozen laptops there at any given point.
Plus there's a nice large table a group of people could take over.

The food is really good, but it's about $10 a plate (paninis, crepes, omelettes, salads)

and the coffee/tea is pretty typical Coffee prices.

so I just ended up signing up for Improv classes at the UCB on sundays
so I'm only going to be doing the Saturday Write Outs

I'm at Salon right now, and I'm surrounded by people with laptops and reading scripts - but that could describe any LA coffeehouse on any weekend. How do I know who's doing Scriptfrenzy?

That's a good point! I wasn't able to make it this week, but I'm definitely planning to be there next weekend. Perhaps I'll bring a sign or something (geeky as that surely is, at least we'll find each other.)
