I wrote a script where one character has dreams and hallucinations, and all I did was describe in the "action" how weird things seemed or that they moved in staccato motion or something, then I ended the "dream" by slamming into reality. So as you're reading it, you wonder what's going on and then, just like in the movie, you WAKE UP and it's all a dream.
