Any 50-somethings doing Screnzy?

Just wondering whether there were any... ahem... aged (like fine wine) folks doing Screnzy?

What a polite way of putting it.

Yes, I passed the half-century milestone earlier this month. And I don't plan on stopping any time soon.

Well, I'm 60 something and loving every minute of this ScriptFrenzy. Wakes up the ol' brain.

RE: Any 50-somethings doing Screnzy?

Another 60 something here. I retired a couple years ago. I took an adult ed six week screen writing course at a community college. Only got a few pages done during the course time, but ran off about 100 pages or so after that. That script is still incomplete, but I hope to get back to it one day. That was all my own creation and was exciting to do while it was happening.

This is my frist Script Frenzy and I'm going to try doing an adaptation of Elizabeth Moon's "The Speed of Dark." It's a Sci Fi novel about an autistic adult man and the events are seen through his eyes. Part of the challenge is figuring out how to get what is in his mind, as told in the novel, into a form it could be seen on a movie screen.

I'm 53 and a Nano vet. Tried SF last year, but life got in the way. This year I've got my outline, signed up at Scripped and will finish this screenplay come what may.
I'm adapting my 2006 Nano, a western. And I intend having some serious fun. Good luck, all!

Yep, another fifty something here. NaNo veteran also, but this is my first serious attempt at Frenzy. I've written several other scripts, but only one that I consider half way good.
