What fun!
He's a bored Count's son with a Peter Pan complex whose family is losing money and power and whose crazy sister turns him into a frog. He's a scruffy, impulsive, slightly violent new-money kid with an even bigger Peter Pan complex who's (much to the crazy sister's annoyance) practically part of the family. They fall in love!
She's a scheming Count's daughter whose mother died when she was thirteen, leaving her to grow up and take over the responsibilites of the house, who badly wants to advance her family's position- badly enough to turn her brother into a frog and make him marry the heir to the throne. He's a somewhat older, very sensible King (of Bohemia) with a huge rose garden and an unsentimental exterior but a soft heart. They fall in love!
(Oh man- my mind is really in the show I was in that just closed. After writing those, I started thinking, "He's a Mama-clutching, asprin-splitting, six-foot tower of jello. She's a Spanish tamale from Allentown, PA. They fall in love!")

I am but mad north-northwest. When the wind is southernly, I know a hawk from a handsaw!
