I saw a post asking if someone was going to start a thread like this...so I decided to start one **is cool** I hope it's okay to post this here...Anyway, come here to post your character deisgns, discuss designs, characters, plots, etc.

Title: OtherWorld
Genre: Fantasy
Main Character: Oji Miromori
Summary?: Set in both a modern world and an alternate parallel world.

While Neo MiroMori is trying to get over the tragic death of his twin brother, he keeps thinking he sees Oji suffering, keeps hearing him scream, keeps dreaming about another world, beyond two strange doors.

Oji MiroMori wants out. Being locked in a observation glass tube thing with wires attached to your body for God knows how long is not fun. Banging on the glass until it breaks, Oji makes his way up a spiraling flight of stairs, opening the large metal door located at the top of them. The world that the door opens up to his filled with strange creatures and large floating bikes. It doesn't take Oji too long to figure out that he's no longer (in Kansas) home.

KWAAAA! That first page sketch is beautiful! As for all of my charecters....There is at least twenty of them....I have the first seven up on my profile so far so if you want to read over descriptions there, you may.

Main Charecter: No one has stepped out yet...But so far it seems to be K-chan.
Setting: Earth and an anime style fantasy world
Summary: A group of teens are sent to an anime style world which they must protect.

Title: AHAHAHA- I have no idea yet.
Genre: Er- Modren fantasy/scifi?
Main Character: Logan Brent, Annabelle Kingsley
Summary?: Logan is a telemarketer, but he's sure his true calling is to write romance screenplays. The female lead in his screenplay, novelist Anna Kingsley, moves to his city- and it seems that she's writing his life as well. They quickly realize that they hate each other. As the writers of each others lives, they do everything they can to make each other miserable- and create more widespread damage than they mean to.

No character sketches yet, but I'll do some soon... I'm a bit uneasy with the similarity to Stranger Than Fiction, but since the focus is completely different I think I'll plow on ahead.

I found the cast pic for the Nano version of the book. Note that for the GN version the costumes are changing, a LOT. I'm moving away from a European Medieval look to more of a quasi-Asian/Eastern European look. Something like a cross between Cirque du Soleil's "Kà" and Suikoden V.

Don't you know you can put "img" tags directly into your posts? I'm the one who suggested posting character designs (several times), and finally the thread has materialized. I'll be posting my designs here soon. I've got some old ones, and I'm getting ready to do some new ones (my skills have improved since I last designed characters a couple years ago). You'll see them right here. "Img" tag, remember.

Character design I can do. Click here for my main character. (It's too big to direct link.) Also, the lead characters from the immediate prequel. This picture sucks(qualitywise), but click here anyway.

After I finish this thing I'm drawing out the whole script over the summer. Which is going to take way more time than the writing. It took me a week to do that picture...

It ended up that way, but I tend to sketch and scan my pictures.

That's not Kaz's character model, he changes clothes too much to really have a consistent one. Kya and Zira don't change clothes, though. (I wonder how bad they smell...)

I don't get this 'img' thing. You're going to have to explain it step by step, because I don't know how to do it.

I set the width to 500 because the pic would exceed the page width otherwise. Also, I have a poky ol' computer and don't like to load huge image files to boards, so I prefer to link directly to them as I did below.

Just remember to write the ENTIRE URL between the quotation marks in <img src="____blank____">
