Crossover--help

Hey guys. I'm new this year and have decided to attempt the daunting challenge of Screnzy. However, as I am under order by my parents (who are quite sick of my penchant for dark fiction) to write something upbeat. So I had an idea, and thought I'd ask the knowledgeable people in this forum if it was complete trash or not.

I wanted to attempt to write a giant crossover between as many pre-exisiting musicals as possible, set in a Survivor-esque game show on a (mostly) deserted island. Yes, it would use already-existing characters. I wouldn't plan to do anything beyond writing it but--I'm not sure if such crossovers, which are common in other fandoms, are really a good thing for musicals.

What do you people think. Complete trash or decent idea?

RE: Crossover--help

It all depends on how you write it.

So I guess we'll have to wait till April 30th to reach a verdict.

(If you like it, go ahead and write it. It sounds interesting to me. Have fun with it!)
