Physical write-in/meeting - Saturday, Sunday, or evening?

One person has said that they would be able to come to Vancouver for a write-in. Are other people interested? If so, which works better for you: Saturday or Sunday afternoon (or morning!), or a week night?

I have a prior engagement this coming Sunday, so I wouldn't be able to meet then, but Saturday would be fine for me, or a weeknight next week.

Does anyone have a location they would like to meet at? I like Blenz coffee shops, but the two that I have been to are quite busy. Waves (either downtown or on Commercial(I think)) is another option.

Let me know when you would like to meet. It's okay if we don't meet this coming weekend; it will give us all time to make progress on our scripts! :-)

EDIT: putting this information at the top
On Tuesday, April 8th, let's meet at the WAVES on Hastings and Richards. Waves does have places to plug laptops in, and they have free WiFi, I believe.

I'll be there around 7pm and we can meet from 7-9 (or later, if we are really into our scripts!)

Monday or Tuesday would be best for me. I don't mind where in Vancouver, somewhere we can plug in laptops would be good.

RE: Physical write-in/meeting - Saturday, Sunday, or evening?

I'd be up for a write-in. I know there are a few Waves Coffee shops around and they're really nice. They also have some of the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted, which is always a plus in my book. Evenings would be best. Tuesday or Thursday would work for me, but I can be flexible. There is a Waves Coffee shop on Hasting and Richards which I've never seen SUPER crowded. There is also one on Main and 10th as well as a few other locations in the city.

RE: Physical write-in/meeting - Saturday, Sunday, or evening?

It looks like Tuesday night is good for some people, so we will give that a try this week.

On Tuesday, April 8th, let's meet at the WAVES on Hastings and Richards. Waves does have places to plug laptops in, and they have free WiFi, I believe.

I'll be there around 7pm and we can meet from 7-9 (or later, if we are really into our scripts!)

If you are coming by Skytrain or 98 B-Line, get off at Waterfront station and walk up Seymour street to Hastings. Turn left and walk one block. You should see the WAVES coffee shop. There is a #10 bus that runs along Hastings, and I think there is a stop near Richards and Hastings.

Let me know if you prefer a later start time.

RE: Physical write-in/meeting - Saturday, Sunday, or evening?

No other Script Frenzy participants showed up. The coffee shop was very crowded though. It's a very popular place, I guess.

I think next Tuesday I might try the Blenz across the street instead. There was no one there.

If I can get my wireless card working, I might even be able to do a chat!

RE: Physical write-in/meeting - Saturday, Sunday, or evening?

I won't be hosting a write-in this Tuesday (April 15) since I'm not feeling well. Hopefully I'll feel like working from home this evening!

Good luck, everyone!
