Question About Pages

I'm using Scripped as my GN-scripting software. Tried generating a pdf file, 16 pages of comic book pages is coming to 5 pages of pdf.

So the question is: do I have to write 100 actual pages or 100 comic book pages?

RE: Question About Pages

I think it's 100 script pages. Movies and TV shows don't have pages, after all.

RE: Question About Pages

Yep, 100 ACTUAL pages (of script).

I'm much the same, as I assume most comic script writers will be: I'm using CELTX and my 35 page script only runs to 22 comic books pages (and that's WITHOUT having page breaks at the start of every page as one should do), but it's the 35 that counts towards the 100 page goal.

RE: Question About Pages

As far as I know, it's comic book pages. That's what I've seen everywhere.

RE: Question About Pages

If it was simply 100 pages of the comic, I'd be done already. It's 100 pages of the script.

I'm assuming that by comic book pages, you mean:

Page 1
Panel 1 - Marie opens a cabinet.
Panel 2 - Closeup on can's expiration date of 2 years ago.
Panel 3 - Wideshot of Marie. Marie says "Damn."

Page 2
etc...

RE: Question About Pages

Yes, 100 pages of script. Forget the actual finished comic along with pictures that the script may eventually produce, we're talking about the script - WORDS on the PAGE - for Script Frenzy and the total number of pages those words manage to fill is what counts.
