i've been trying to use the search to locate all the HI writers and keep coming up empty.. just curious

Sorry, newbie here. But doesn't that number in the members column on the Regional Affiliation page mean we currently have 29 writers/members in Hawaii?

What I should've done is asked how we recognize each other in "real life" because I went to Windward Mall on Saturday but didn't see anyone who looked like they were either Frenzied or working on a screenplay. So, is there a secret handshake or something?

And no, no secret handshake, but we usually use the forums to communicate :p It's nice to know when people are going to be there. ^_^

And just for safe measure, we had printed the Script Frenzy flyers and left it on the table so people could recognise us. Sorry we missed you!

OK, I guess my eye sight is going in my old age. I didn't notice any flyers. Duh!

Anyway, I was there from around 1:00 to around 3:00, sitting on the left side (as you face the counter) next to the window, at the second table away from the straws and stuff. I don't suppose you happened to notice an old guy (OK, not that old, forty-something) with a beard, wearing jeans and a gray "Writers Guild on Strike" T-shirt, reading a copy of Script magazine?

FWIW I did ask the barista, but she didn't know what I was talking about. Then again, she was blonde. (Apologies to any blondes reading.)

with nano you can see who has listed hawaii as their location.. for me the search function isn't working...

and the 29 only says how many folks have listed this as their regional aff. that doesn't mean there aren't more hawaii folks..

Oh dear, mark, well, now I need to keep in mind to let the workers know what's going on! Whoops! sorry about that! I'll fix that error next time.

Raye, the script's coming along. Not as well as yours looks to be, but it's progressing. The folks in my writer's group pointed out a few problems, but I think I've figured out how to address their concerns.

Jon, I can't make tomorrow, but I could do Saturday afternoon again. Although, if it's just you and me, I'd just as soon get together in town.
