Graveyard

I can't believe there's no graveyard yet. What did you do with all the bodies?

If you've killed off anyone in your script, here's the place to bury them. Appropriate words in their honor, etc.

(I'll be back with mine when I get him good and dead. For now, he's still breathing and causing problems.)

RE: Graveyard

Andy Frank, a popular young actor, died in mysterious circumstances during filming, midway through Act 2.

Later, his girlfriend Erica, also an actor, more self-centred than a hurricane, videotaped this tribute to him.

ERICA (CONT'D)
Andy was such a special soul. He could light up a room, and he was amazing in -- in everything he did. He’ll always have a special place. In my heart. I have to finish this movie for him. Even though it causes me so much pain. But how could I deprive his fans of a last chance to see him? I’ll get through it... for his sake, but I... don’t know how... I’m sorry.

She sniffles, mimes “cut!”

The cameraman cuts.

ERICA (CONT'D)
(brightly)
How was I?

CAMERAMAN
Unbelievable. Literally, unbelievable.

She smiles.

ERICA
Well, I’ve only been doing him for two weeks. It’s not like it was ever going anywhere. But it’s all good.

She points at the camera.

ERICA (CONT'D)
I need to get that to Newsnight.

RE: Graveyard

Aye' Dolly Moran, heart of gold she had. Selling her wares no more to the highest bidder. Dolly was reformed. She was helpin' those Unweds'. Dolores was right giving up those babies to the church, wasn't she? Doctor Malachi Griffin knows more about this than he's letting on.

Good ole' Barney Foley, a drunken old sot, some would judge. If he had stayed bumming drinks at McGonagle's Pub, maybe he wouldn't have drowned in the Grand Canal. Aye, but was he pushed? Barney was making inquiries about a Fat Judy for Mr. Quirk. Can Mr. Quirke convince DCI Hackett that Barney was murdered?

And what about Baby Christine? The baby survives her tiring journey from Dublin to Boston by boat, only to be shaken into an early end by that dumb teamster, Andy Stafford. Now,Andy was hardly an ideal candidate to be that baby's stepfather was he, Sister Stephanus?

RE: Graveyard

Does it count if they're ghosts from the get-go?

* Janet Sutton, 29, stabbed with a screwdriver.
* William Thornton, looks 35 but was born in 1499, killed in battle.

RE: Graveyard

Erm. well.

None of the people who have kicked it yet have actually had names.

The script opens with my protagonist burning a dead body (which the audience actually never gets a look at). Then he proceeds to kill BLOND STUDENT in a 'random subway knifing', and takes out WAITER #1 by drowning him in the toilet in a restaurant washroom.

I have another death or three lined concretely up in my outlining, but how many people my protagonist moves on to actually kill is still rather up in the air.

Noir? Psychological thriller? Dexter ripoff? Bah, who knows.

I've killed off about 6 members of rival crime rings. Maybe some cops. Not completely sure...

RE: Graveyard

TWO NEWLYWEDS GUNNED DOWN AT ALTER

Salvanio Rosiano, 25, and Rose Contadino-Rosiano, 22, both died on April 8th, 1958 at Palms Haven hospital from complications due to gunshot wounds. In a tragic turn of events, the two were gunned down at thier own wedding on April 7th, 1958, moments after they said "I do". Rosiano was a well-known associate of famed mob boss and casino owner Vincent Cavalcanti and many people are pointing the finger at Benico D'Agnosti-Cavalcanti's casino rival and mob enemy. Another person under suspicion is millionaire Enrico Luciano, who's daughter-Bella is set to marry Vincent's oldest son, Greg, this winter.

Contadino-Rosiano was often seen with Cavalcanti's daughter, Rachele, who is nineteen. All the Cavalcanti's, which also includes Vincent's wife- Angelina, and younger daughter-Alba, were close to the two. Both Rosiano's will be dearly missed. -Hannah Willows

Gosh, I really wanted to keep Sal and Rose around but they just got in the way....poor kids.

Here lies Target #1.
He died by an assassin's bullet through the heart so that the plot could live.

RE: Graveyard

It's taken me a long time to get back, dead body dragging behind me. Remind me to stay away from Nano_ Bot--Target dead after 1 minute of script life?! ugh.

So here's my tribute:
Hope Charming. You were hard-working, an artist with machines, a lady's man. But you couldn't get your grip on how to live life. The cussing (was it Tourette's Syndrome?) The unemployment. (Was it discrimination?) Something about that early bash on your head unhinged you. Or was it your name?

May you rest in peace.
