Progress Check

This place is dead, so I thought I would check in and see how you are all doing?

So far for me, week 2 isn't going to well - life just throws in so many distractions! My count is 22 pages so I have a long way to go, but what I have is reasonable for the most part... whether it will survive a re-write, I seriously doubt!

So come on guys - where are we all at?

RE: Progress Check

I've been following my schedule fairly well (even if I do tend to write my quota between midnight and three in the morning); at the moment I'm actually six pages up, at 42.

But now comes the difficult bit - finding horrors to occupy my characters for the 40 pages until the ending...

RE: Progress Check

As of now, 27 pages written, most of which will die come the rewrite. Not bad really, considering I've had no time to write this week. Major major college work that I'm fitting writing around. It adds an interesting challenge.

In other news, this is the most I have ever written in Screnzy or NaNo. I feel kinda proud...

RE: Progress Check

Sorry, I don't think I found my own story interesting and inviting enough to finish. I am finishing the month with around 21 pages written. I haven't found an explanation of how to count pages, so I have given the number of pages that my script occupies in Microsoft Word.

I'll probably have another go at NaNoWriMo in November. I am planning to use the same characters in my next NaNoWriMo novel as I created for Hell and Highwater.

Meanwhile if you want to know what I've been doing please look at my blog on ITToolbox.

RE: Progress Check

62 pages. I needed to write fifteen pages a day these three days, but yesterday I only got seven pages written, and today we first had a power cut and then Mamma went and broke her foot. So tomorrow I have to get up early and write 38 pages before midnight. Good game...

RE: Progress Check

Somewhere in the region of 40-odd pages. I'm not going to get an improvement on that.

College comes first, and I have 5 weeks to finish a huuuuge amount of work that I should have got done months ago. It's a shame, but that's what I get for being lazy.

RE: Progress Check

I've got to 44 and will be doing no more tonight, however I do intend to keep at it until I have 100 to 120 pages done. That should take at the rate I've been going about 6 to 8 weeks. I'll be a winner even if I'm the only one who knows!

RE: Progress Check

38 pages in a day!

Granted, the last 25 were so rubbish that they'll probably be deleted before morning, but that's beside the point...
