Wow, our regional board is so quiet! Not like NaNo was!!

So, since I'm procrastinating and running out of Facebook and Livejournal stuffs to procrastinate with :) I thought I'd throw this out -- what's everyone's script about?

I'll start!

My screenplay begins at Anime Central (a big anime convention in Rosemont in May) with a bunch of cosplayers packed into an elevator, which malfunctions. They manage to get the doors open and discover...they're not at the Hyatt anymore! And, more so, they're learning that they seem to have gained the powers of the character they're cosplaying. My two blabbermouths, Knitchick and Pockychopstix, are cosplaying Captain Jack Harkness and the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who (heehee), I've got Jason David Frank in there (he's gonna be a guest at Acen this year, I just had to trap him with us!!), Perona from One Piece, a Highlander immortal, and more. I'm still trying to figure out the details of where they are and how they got there (I'm the writer and I'm discovering this as the characters do! That really shouldn't be....), but I've decided to toss some other dimensional portals in there and I'm having way too much fun with that. It's fun having two characters who can't die! *evil grin*

So that's my crazy insane screenplay. What's everyone else writing about?? :)

Wow, it really *is* dead on here this month!

I was writing a screenplay version of my 06-NaNo book...but moving and packing this month have pretty much sucked up all my free time, including writing time in the evenings (since I can't write at work - I can't download the software to my work computer). Unlike NaNo, where I can just use MS Word at work, I've had to work on my S/F piece exclusively at home and at the Tuesday write-ins.

Perhaps next year I'll make it through S/F =D

That stinks!

Yeah I'm actually kind of happy that I managed to get Celtx running on my laptop, so I've been hauling the beast back and forth to work and typing while I eat. It's not much but I can usually knock off about a half a page to a page in that half hour.

I'm still way behind but I was at 75 pages earlier this evening...*checks* It's up to 82 now, getting there. I plan to come home from work on Wed and write til I drop because I am *determined* to get a win this year!

And I am never again throwing this many characters in a screenplay! Too many divas demanding lines!! *snarls at demanding characters*
