RE: The Witches of Eastwick!

Gee, I'd love to -- except it takes me about three hours to get to Macquarie Uni by public transport. That's one way. And longer back again, because there are fewer trains that late. Phooey.

RE: The Witches of Eastwick!

The others couldn't remember exactly who you played, I gather you gack up stuff and get whacked to death with a poker-iron, right? :D Gawd I hated that bitch in the book!!

Laura - I can't promise anything but maybe I can give you a lift home & maybe both ways if you like. It'll be good driving practice.

That would be me! It's a load of fun, and I get to sing a song, too. I'm really excited because I've never had a song all to myself before, even though I've played a lead in three high school musicals. (I sang a duet in my last year of high school, but it was riddled with problems and they had me singing it in a weird key.)

RE: The Witches of Eastwick!

It'd be great if - schedules permitting - we could make a group outing of it. :-)

RE: The Witches of Eastwick!

Laura - Yeees, yes I do. I used to live in Richmond, at the end of the train line, without any nightride bus services and no trains between 12ish and 6am, so I well know the feeling of losing out due to distance and lack of transport options, which is why I offered. Like I said, good driving practice : )

RE: The Witches of Eastwick!

Colleen --

Wow -- all I'd need, though, would be a ride from the show back to Central Station, or, ideally, Sutherland Station. (I could make my way up to Macquarie all right, albeit laboriously, using the time to catch up on the reading I've been ignoring all month!) I still don't know for sure if I'll be there, depending on what date suits everybody best, but I really appreciate the offer!

Sounds fabulous! I'd love to come along and support the Cass. :P I second (third?) the idea of a group outing! XOXO Celia.
