H.A.C.K. Club 09!

I tried in NaNo last year, but clearly there weren't enough of us left over from SF. But for those of you who remember, we are here again!

============THE H.A.C.K. LEGEND=================

A screenwriter came to talk to our screenwriting program and we read part of a script he sold. A student called him on a bad bit of science, and he asked him why he wrote it the way he did. The writer responded: "One word. H-A-C-K."

============HOW TO BECOME A H.A.C.K.============

I don't think anyone would doubt you if you said you were a H.A.C.K., but then again, you might not be wanting to say that out loud too often. Maybe you'll just want to stick to a semi-anonymous post here, your H.A.C.K. status and perhaps how long you've known about your... condition.

============WHAT TO POST HERE=================

In the past, people have debated as to what H.A.C.K. stood for - because we're way more creative than just "the spelling of hack." Hairballs Attacking Cats and Kittens? Harbingers Aiding Creative Kleptos? You decide!

And feel free to link the club in your signature so others can recognize you as a proud H.A.C.K.

So post here and revel in your H.A.C.K. ancestry. You're in good company.

***UPDATE TO THE STORY***

Since the film has since come out and I'm all about attribution, the screenwriter was Grant Nieporte, who wrote "Seven Pounds" which came out in December. Go Grant!

Sounds epic.

Hobos Aren't Consistent Kleptomaniacs.

Yeah, I don't really know either....

So... does posting this count as "joining" (or being Happily Accepted (as a) Club Kid) ?
