I wanted to let you know about a play from Shotgun Players called The Farm. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, find time to check it out!

Jon Tracy spins out an adaptation of George Orwell's Animal Farm, and I was amazed at the interpretation.

Spoken word, beat box and a cutting-edge, radically explosive, thought-provoking hip-hop style create a landscape for The Farm that is absolutely unprecedented.

The production is playing now through September 13 at John Hinkel Park in Berkeley. I suggest that you get there early with a picnic and make an afternoon of a great show in the great outdoors.

Two added bonuses: Liz Lisle, Script Frenzy cameo contributor, is the Managing Director of Shotgun Players; Sarah Mitchell, an actor at our 2008 Wrap Party, plays Bluebell.
