Hey Everyone!

So how are you all doing on your scripts? I'm still in shock that I got to one hundred pages, even after my computer crashed! I had two days where I didn't write as I had to go out and get a new computer. I thought that would put me behind, but apparently not!

Does anyone know when we'll be able to upload our PDF's to the site? I think it was supposed to be the fifteenth of April but I can't see anything on the site. :)

I hope you're all doing really well on your scripts and that you're making good progress!

Hey everyone!

It's time to start another frenzied month! I hope everyone is getting excited.

I will be your ML again this year. Last year was a little shaky as it was the first year, but together I know we can have a great Frenzy.

If you have questions, feel free to ask. I am addicted to my computer, so I can promise to answer you quite quickly.

So let's here what your plans are for April. Do you have one yet? Are you already in head over heels with researching and planning? Are you just starting to poke at ideas?

I will be writing an adaptation of one of my favourite novels, Black Sun Rising by C.S. Friedman. This is the first novel of the Coldfire trilogy. This is a high fantasy piece that will definately challenge my imagination. It is something I have wanted to try for the longest time and am really glad to have a chance.

Hey everyone! It's been rather quiet so I am hoping you are all working away. How is everyone doing?

I hit a huge slump (in the first week too!) so I am only at 10 pages. But I have a strong outline and a lot of time on my hand in the next week, so I am looking to make a good comeback.

How far are you? How is your plot coming? Any interesting plot bunnies? Loving or hating your characters? Share some dirt!

Write-ins/Events

Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out what to do this year.

Due to low numbers as Script Frenzy is still just growing, we will not have a large number of write-ins, but I will still try to schedule at least one per week. They will probably all be in the downtown core, simply for easy of access. This write-ins will be low key. Basically I will be there for the time stated and anyone is welcome to join me if they wish for some fun chatting, commiserating over plot holes, and some good work. If any of you have participate in Nano before, you probably know how helpful these write-ins can be. There is something magically about all hanging out together and writing together that just manages to triple your typing speed.

I will be posting my dates, times and locations later in March.

I also want to encourage you guys to hold your own write-ins as well. Basically if you are willing to sit and write somewhere in public (cafe, library, university/college campus), let us know when you will be there so that others can join you. If I am available I will definitely try to come.

I also had another new idea that stemmed from me getting to talk to alot of you on the forums, but not seeing many at events. I was thinking of having Virtual Write-Ins. Basically a group chat on MSN or another program where we can still all chat together during the month from the comfort of our private writing spots. What do you guys think? Would anyone be interested in doing this?

Hey everyone. Well I told you about the chatbox that another ML told me about for our virtual write-ins. And well I was getting jealous of all the other regions having their own website. So I have decided that for my side project this year, on top of work and my script, I will be making Ottawa a website for Nano and Frenzy!

I am not a very talented webpage designer, so it is not that amazing, but it will work until I get crazy talented helpers.

Look for the launch of the website on March 31!
