An Excerpt from Looking for alaska
COLONEL: Want a smoke?
PUDGE: Is it safe here?
COLONEL: Not really. (Pudge accepts a cigarette and chokes on it, clearly not used to smoking)
COLONEL: (laughs) Smoke much? (points accross the lake) See that?
PUDGE: Yeah, what is that? A bird?
COLONEL: It's the Swan.
PUDGE: Wow. A school with a swan. wow.
COLONEL: That Swan is the spawn of Satan.
