When a stream of natural disasters leave the world in shambles, the survivors must pick up the pieces to start new lives. For Jackie Harris this means finding something to look forward to--something to keep living for. When she comes across a random magazine featuring Captain America on the cover, she decides to make a near cross-country trek just to see if Chris Evans has made it through the turmoil. Along the way, she becomes a reluctant leader to a rag-tag bunch longing to find something to believe in and someone to take them on that great journey. Can Jackie become the leader she never wanted to be and will they find the fate of Chris Evans or realize bigger goals?
