Genres?

I'm just wondering what genres you guys are writing in. Personally, I'm writing with a romantic foreground, a fantasy/scifi focus, and a modern drama background. (Yes, I categorize everything I do this way. I don't expect you to though.)

RE: Genres?

I am writing a romantic comedy. At least I am hoping it will be funny. We will see once I get writing.

RE: Genres?

I'm writing a teen comedy about love, loss, the suburbs, and fundamental christian stepparents. Lots of shenanigans are involved. :)

RE: Genres?

I'm writing a fantasy, hopefully with some comedy in it. At least, that's my current plan.

RE: Genres?

I'm not entirely sure what Genre mine falls into cause...I mean, it could just be Drama cause I haven't decided if the main character is actually schizophrenic or not. If she is then it could just be classified as Drama. But if she isn't, then the guy following her around who only she can hear and see and everything else that only she can hear and see would probably fall into the Sci-Fi genre.

I'm just not sure lol.

I just put it up as Drama on my Profile page heh.

So I'd say a whole bunch of drama with pinch of Sci-Fi mixed in.

RE: Genres?

High fantasy adventure/romance for me. It's my preferred genre and is based off of a novel I'm trying to write that seems to have stalled itself out. So I'll be turning it into a screenplay. I hope. *grin*
