Location Location Location!

Okay, that's real estates, not movies....

Where are you all? Let me know and let me know the absolute number one place to write in your area (street adress, or at least name of the place would be even better). I can't wait to get started planning meet ups!

I'm in Southington, and as all the nanos in the group know, the HFD area group is pretty strong, but you tell me where you are, and we'll see what fun new coffee shops we can torment... erm, give our patronage!

RE: Location Location Location!

I'm a teen with divorced 'rents, so I'm somewhere between Portland and Manchester. I hope to attend write-ins this year, but my Pop isn't too thrilled about the idea of me fluttering off to Starbucks to write scripts with people from the internet.

But those are April's problems, and they shall be solved. (:

RE: Location Location Location!

We love Starbucks Manchester! Also, Pops is totally allowed to come out and meet us. I look VERY respectable on the outside, I promise! (okay, I'm boring and respectable on the inside too...)Or he can drop you off, and come back and pick you up.

We don't meet in private homes for group events (though some great Frenzies have thrown parties and the like, those are not offical SF events, even if they are a blast!) and even my mom has come to the occasional meet up. Know any good places to call a meet up in Portland?

RE: Location Location Location!

Sounds like fun times!
There's actually a cute cafe around where I live. Having never been there, I don't know how good their coffee/food are. There's also a small pastry shop(but I don't think delicious pastries, what with their stickiness, are a good match for laptops!).

I'll scout out the area and let you know about any new developments. *salute*

Waterbury.

I'll try to make some meetings, because they help me immensely, but with gas prices, I must pick my moments judiciously.

RE: Location Location Location!

I'm in Bethany. I don't drive, though, and my parents unfortunately won't drive me anywhere more than ten or so minutes away. There's a Starbucks in Woodbridge that could work, though (again, only if I convince the 'rents to let me go, but hopefully close to home would be okay).

I'm also kicking around Waterbury and gas prices being what they are, I can't go that far. Will try to make it, though.

serenityfox:

Are you talking about the one down by the New Haven line, or a different one?

RE: Location Location Location!

I'm from a suburb of New Haven. I'm also pretty tied to the area, so I might not be able to attend a write-in in, say, Hartford.
