I have an odd idea. It's either utterly amazing, utterly silly, or utterly foolish. It reminds me a lot of "Drawn Together" or an RPG, tabletop game. As writers, we all have our favorite characters. Some of us RP them to find out more about their personalities and ability to interact with others. I'd like to take this a step further.

1) Pick your favorite character - the brightest personality, the one that wants to shine, the outcast, the detective, the magician, etc, etc. Any genre.

2) Place them in a house with X number of other characters.

3) See what happens.

The episodes would run as how each, daily interaction would go by RPing the characters on some chatroom forum - I prefer AIM but am more than happy to work with any of them. There would be challenges and a setting to work with.

Whoa. I had an idea the other day that was eerily similar to this. Except it didn't involve throwing all the characters together in a house; it was throwing them into a theater for thirty days and forcing them to work together to create a full-length play/film from scratch. And they're locked in the theater and no character can leave for the entire duration of the month. O.o

Anyway, the house roleplaying thing sounds really fun, I'd love to do it with any/all parties interested. AIM works for me too ^^
