It's almost time...write-ins? |
Hi everyone!
My name is Alana, and I am the ML for our region. I am really looking forward to participating this year.
I wanted to get a bit of an idea of where we are all located so I can schedule some write ins for us. I was also planning to do some "virtual" write ins, so please let me know your preferred IM client (Gtalk, AIM, Yahoo, etc).
I look forward to meeting you, one way or another! :)

I'm in Tucson. Three time NaNo, one time Screnzy winner. I never get to local write-ins, but love to check in online and see "what up"....
Did a screenplay last year, playing with one-act plays this year, unless I get that last minute brilliant flash.
Virtual: Yahoo, but I could do Gtalk, probably.

I'm in the Phoenix area, East Valley. I did nano last year, didn't quite win, but I'm really hoping to win this. I didn't go to any write ins for nano because they were either on a sunday (I'm religious) or were too far, but if there are any close ones, I'd love to go.
Virtual: aim, msn im, I have gmail, but I don't know how gtalk works, I'm sure I could figure it out...
Nanowrimo 07: came close, but failed
Screnzy 08: determined to win!
If you don't have hope, what do you have?

As I mentioned, AHEM, to Grammarqueen in another thread, I'm in the East Valley, and am totally down (up?) with (for?) a write-in, virtual or otherwise.
To my utter astonishment, I did NaNo and "won"my first time out last year. This time, I'm hoping to turn the fruits of my NaNoLabors into a screenplay.
Me too with the Gmail, and me too with the clueless as to how Gtalk works.

Spread across the state, we are.
I'm georgieb and we (wife and I) live in Pine, north of Payson, a long, 100-mile trip from Phoenix. Any write-in would have to be virtual. We just switched to gmail, but I have no idea how gtalk works. Any idea where to look for help?
I entered the last two NaNo's, 'won' both times, and also 'won' last year's ScriptFrenzy. Nothing published yet; everything is in 'edit' mode.

Hello! I'm Tanya (Nyachu online), and I'm located in Sedona.
I've participated in NaNo for two years (though I've never finished), and this is my first year participating in Script Frenzy (I forgot last year). ^^;

I'm Quillandink and this is my first Script Frenzy. I'm north of Prescott in Chino Valley. I must be insane to attempt this but, what the h*&% - it's only time.
Now, I must search the site for script formatting and such. See you on the forums.

Hey, I'm Raivyn. I live way up in Page. That's by Lake Powell. Which is partially in Utah. I've won NaNo three times and Screnzy once. So, yeah. Being way up beyond Flagstaff the only write ins I would possibly make would be online ones and the only IM I have is MSN: raivyn.reads@hotmail.com

Im "Zara" in tucson. I almost got Nano done three years ago but my pc and disk both died about 1000 words from the end. The last two nano's and last scrip[t frenzy my book keept geting in the way (lucky its almost done) I'd like to geet my scaprt done this year.

Hiya, popping in from Page, AZ, same as Raivyn up there. Though I've participated in NaNo for many years, I only won last year, in part because of various bets involving candy rewards... good times, good times.
But anywho... I use Gtalk, AIM, and mIRC.

Wow....can't believe how spread out this group is. Jealous of all you northerners getting to write in the nice cool air :-)
