Hello, Orlando!

Anyone else out there in Orlando doing the Script Frenzy? Would be nice to see if there is a kindred soul lurking out there somewhere... Hello and good luck to all! K~

RE: Hello, Orlando!

Hi Jonea,

Well, true there are not too many people yet, but that's ok... we'll make the best of it anyway, right?

Good luck to you in this adventure. Have you done this before?

RE: Hello, Orlando!

this is my second time for script frenzy. i loved it so much last year that i did nanowrimo when it came around in november and i'm back for a second round. i took a playwriting class as a grad student and loved it and i was intrigued by the idea of writing a screenplay. it was pretty different as far as format and action go -but i loved the process and can't wait to start again.

did you participate last year? do you also nano?

RE: Hello, Orlando!

Hi Jonea,

Actually, this is my first stab at the Script Frenzy, eeps!. Just found out about it a few weeks ago. I used to dabble in scriptwriting many moons ago, mostly experimenting with writing spec scripts for TV when I lived in California(isn't everyone an actor/director/writer out there???) Since then, I have kinda of drifted away from my creative side, letting it languish, especially since being here in Orlando. I see the ScriptFrenzy as a way of getting myself kickstarted back into the creative process.

What genre are you tackling? Personally, I have a few idea I've been kicking around but basically have No Clue what I will be going to actually end up going with. This will be quite the journey! Looking forward to it and it will be interesting to say the least.

Good luck and happy writing as you start!
K~

RE: Hello, Orlando!

Hi all! I live in Edgewater, (just south of Daytona) so it's cool to see some people at least a little local. I can't believe I'm actually going to try and embark on a scriptwriting frenzy right now because I'm actually directing a play and my nights are rather busy with that.

When nano came around last year, I was in a play, so it was hard and I just didn't get anything done, I had too many distractions, but I have a new job with a lot of down time, so I'm gonna see what I can do. Luck to all!

RE: Hello, Orlando!

I am in Kissimmee and this is my first Script Frenzy attempt. I hope I can do it! I'm very good at coming up with ideas and doing absolutely nothing with them! Good luck to all of us! Donna

RE: Hello, Orlando!

Hi There!

I'm not in Orlando, but I live in Edgewater, FL. This is my first Script Frenzy. I'm actually trying to prepare some previously written scripts for contest submissions this month as well as finish a half finished script along with my new Script Frenzy Script. Not sure if I'm overly ambitious or just psychotic:-) Good Luck!!!
