Hello everyone.

I am setting my goal as one 120 page screenplay. It will be a paranormal/historical romance set in three different time periods. I will be writing 30 pages/week.
I'm hoping to send it to a couple of screenwriting competitions that have an April 30 or May 1 deadline.

Well, it's day 3 and I appear to be the only one in this group so far. I'm using the outline I created for the Harlequin I'm writing and have managed to write 8 pages so far. I find it is just as difficult, if not more difficult to write a screenplay as it is to write a 400 page novel. I do not have the luxury of certain techniques, such as using the characters thought to convey subtext, or using association or symbolic prose to add texture in quite the same way. I am writing the novel concurrently and it is almost a relief to return to it after spending time on the script. I am enjoying this immensely.
I enjoy watching the videos for the ScriptFrenzy group on Viddler.com. I am planning on posting some videos myself in a few weeks.
It's a few minutes after 9:00 pm now and I still have work to do on the script.

Day 5. 10 pm. I have 17 pages so far and hope to make it to at least 20 before I quit. I don't need to be up early tomorrow so I'll probably work through the night. I'm also doing some research tonight for the scene I'm writing. Normally I have several books on any given subject in my library, but I need to use online resources for this and it's slowing me down somewhat.
I watch the ScriptFrenzy videos on Viddler.com to take the edge off the solitude, and take an occasional trip to a nearby gas station for supersized coffees.

It is April 26, and I have 4 days left on the challenge. I am on page 68. It is going to be close, but I will make the 120 pages. I plan on finishing 10 more pages today.
