I'm going with a radio play. I reckon the cost of doing sfx for film or TV would be too high. I'm doing the Hitchhiker's thing with no limit on sfx cos you can't see them on the radio. So far a big zero for the script. I'm just out of bed, 7 hours behind Singapore, but then I get 7 hours the other end. But only if I change to Ireland time. Hmmm, have to think about that one.

Oooooooh and making radio plays ARE rather fun! You just need people to do the lines and add in effects and you have a finished thing! Meanwhile, pasting my first page for the heck of it.

Scratch that, the formating turns weird when I copy paste so oh well to that!

I'm immensely proud and happy that I managed to figure out an acronym for an advanced computer system. ARIES stands for 'Artificial Response Intelligence for Emergency Situations'. I have yet to come up with names for two major organisations that play a big role in my plot, but I'll probably end up using Seventh Sanctum for inspiration.

Nice acronym. Maybe the Seventh Sanctum thing could use another astrological sign, like Scorpio. If I have any organisations I'll have my characters say it over and over again in full so that it fills up more space ... time ... aha! Doing the sci-fi thingy thing. Bruised, I might find those sound effects useful just to get started.

Regarding the name... Yeah I had Lux explain it earlier.

My name is Lux... No, not like the soap. It means light.

Oooh, VO. I forgot about those. So what is the explanation for Lux? Anything to do with the soap or shampoo with the clock ticking backwards in the ad 'Lux, super rich'.

Nooooooooooooooooo, it's a semi pun reference since the character's a viiiiiirgin. Or rather backstory she was a virgin sacrifice! And Lux from the book The Virgin Suicides is uh not a virgin.
