I was thinking taking the act- having one in just a plain old romantic comedy, one as a musical, one extremely dramatic, and possibly one as a film noir type of mystery?

It would certainly be interesting.

There are a number of films that address one act from different POV's, but I can't think offhand of one that uses different genres to do it.
