Webcomics

just wondering if there's anyone out there who reads webcomics. It seems to me like webcomics don't have a good reputation among most people because they're viewed as badly written comedies that can't get published anywhere else. But there are really some amazing art and stories out there. The things I love and read are;

Inverloch (completed) and The Pheonix Requiem by Sarah Ellerton (http://seraph-inn.com/)
Demonology 101 (completed) by Faith Erin Hicks (http://faith.rydia.net/)
Ice by Faith Erin Hicks (http://www.faitherinhicks.com/ice/)
No Rest for the Wicked by Andrea L. Peterson (http://www.forthewicked.net/)
Juathuur (completed) by Katie Sweet (http://juathuur.spiderforest.com/)
Gatecrash by Katied Sweet (sequel to Juathuur) (http://www.sweetquark.com/juathuur/)
Earthsong by Crystal Yates (http://www.earthsongsaga.com/)

Anyone else have any quality webcomics they want to share? Possibly any opinions of these ones? Any webcomics you absolutely hate?

RE: Webcomics

I have a lot of webcomics I read but I'll just put up my personal favorites:

Starslip Crisis
xkcd*
Three Panel Soul*
The Dino comic*
Indexed
Perry Bible Fellowship*

*Not suited for people who are offended by strong langauge or adult themes sometimes. They are funny but I wouldn't be letting younger people see them.

RE: Webcomics

I don't read a huge amount of webcomics but there's a couple which I enjoy and (try) keep up to date with.
None of them are particulary kid friendly, because they have sex and/or swearing.
Penny and Aggie. The premise - the rivalry between the popular girl and the weirdo - is a little cliched but the characters are interesting and humans.
Friendly Hostility. Words cannot describe how great this comic is. It's funny and the characters are great and there's even gay for those who like it. Go read.
Kawaii Not. I can't give a better description than the one on the site - 'when cute goes bad'.

RE: Webcomics

I've been reading Sluggy Freelance for about six or seven years now. Yes, it's actually been up and daily for longer than that. A lot of days are just quick little things, but some of the bigger storylines are pretty good. I don't go in too much for most webcomics, though.

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
