Characters for Action Flick

Yeah, these characters are absolutely free to use or adapt to your purposes as you wish.

I really don't care. Just show me your results, if you want to. "Your mileage may vary."

Characters:

"Henry Simmons", is a computer analyst (hacker), administrative assistant and graphic designer. Very little is known about him; the little he reveals about his past life betrays nothing of his character (a mystery of its own). Henry reveals that he grew up in Washington, D.C. and was raised by his single mother. His character is full of contradictions. Even though he is a good-natured, non-violent person who tries to help those in distress. He has a dark, dictatorial side that is nasty and shows no mercy. He does not tolerate, dishonesty, betrayal and disloyalty. He is ambitious and believes in hard work and sacrifice. If he has to betray those loyal to him to get what he desires, he will do it without question. He is constantly fighting his demons, and his true self remains something of a mystery.

"Katie", is a former congressional intern for an unnamed congressman from Indiana, loyal friend and "fuck buddy" of Henry. She describes as a "Irish-Jewish mix", she has great knowledge of history, politics and government. Her past is a mystery; the only thing we know is that she asked Henry for help in the summer of 2006. She demonstrates an almost unconditional loyalty to Henry.

"Jay", an underground comic book artist, graphic designer, and occasional deejay, is Henry's close friend and sidekick. Jay expresses unconditional support of Henry, most particularly when it comes to his blog. While more of Jay's past is disclosed than most other characters, his background is still sparse: He was in the U.S. Navy for about two years, he did not like it, and he is quite a talented artist.

"Draus", is a ninja. He joined the crew as a mercenary: While holding a sword at the Henry's neck, Henry offered him a chance to defend his honor and get paying gigs in local area clubs being a rapper, so he turned on and killed his then-partners. He is someone who can be depended on in a fight. He tends to act like a "asshole" who thinks he is the smarter than everyone, but occasional hints of intelligence peek through this facade, giving the impression that he acts dumber than he is. As Henry states several times, Draus is the man who will ask the questions that no one else wants to. Even though he is a macho character, he has shown a particularly intense fear of Vampires, more so than the rest of the crew. Adding to his character's contradictions is the fact that, despite being shown as greedy and willing to do anything for money, he sends a significant portion of his income to his mother.

"Michelle Alice Taylor", is an advanced female android physically indistinguishable from a human. She was built as the perfect stunningly beautiful, sexually compliant and loyal girlfriend. She has the visage of a woman in her early twenties who finds herself becoming increasingly emotional and even capable of love for the Author as a result. Henry explains Michelle's personality as being wholesome, sweet, and "completely genuine in that sweetness". Katie and Michelle compete for Henry's affections at first, but soon become good friends. Her design is based on the April android but by Warren Mears in Santa Monica, California. Henry was sent the schematics online by a childhood friend who is now a professor at CalTech. It took five years and an estimated quarter billion dollars to build her. Some of the materials are: 700 terabytes of flash memory, 500 teraflop combined processor speed, Titanium-aluminum alloy skeleton, advanced monofilament elastic cables to act as muscles, and fiber optic cable to act as a system bus. She has a blue liquid, analogous for blood, probably for hydraulic movement.

"Babylonia/Babs", is a powerful mystic who practices witchcraft. She was a child prodigy of unparalleled genius, but she was experimented upon at a government institution, leaving her delusional, erratic, and at times violent. She has trouble controlling her power. She is constantly at war with her own demons. She sees and hears things that others do not, and experiences waking dreams of her memories of the government "academy" experiments. Opinions of her vary among the crew: some value her, Draus fears her, and the rest just want her to stay out of trouble.

"Darren Leroy", is a minister that works as a database analyst for the Department of Homeland Security. It is revealed that he has priority status in DHS for unspecified reasons. Throughout the series, he demonstrates a peculiar depth of knowledge about firearms and criminal activities. Although he is presented as a devout religious man, he is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and firearms, at one point making a kneecap shot holding his rifle in one hand. He also has a deep understanding of the criminal world.

"Elina Vasques", is Henry's mysterious soul mate. Very little is known about this woman; other than that she is twenty-eight years old, is an American citzen of Afro-Latina heritage (possibly Afro-Cuban or Puerto Rican), she of an elf bloodline. She comes from a powerful, wealthy family with possible mob connections. She and the author never met. They were supposed to through a mutual contact, Himara Natsui. Elina's mother wanted to meet Henry first. Henry made the comment, "If a twenty-eight year-old woman can't make a decision about who she wants to be with, then I don't want her." This comment offended Elina and her mother so much that they refused to meet him. This broke Henry's heart so much, that he vowed revenge on her, her family, and all elves. When they meet, Henry is a noticeably darker character.

"Himara Natsui", is either an angel or a demon depending on whom you talk to. She is the mortal enemy of Babs/Babalonia and Henry Simmons. She is considered more powerful than Babs/Babalonia.
