Signs of Life?

Is anyone in our region still doing Script Frenzy?

RE: Signs of Life?

Depends on what you consider "our" region...

There's a write-in today if you're not too far away:

Start: Apr 13 2008 - 12:00pm
End: Apr 13 2008 - 2:00pm

Old Pacific Coffee Co.
31805 Highway 79 South (now Temecula Parkway)

Description: Small relaxing coffee shop. Also serves: fruit smoothies and pastries.

I need a write-in before I leave for Tennessee so come out and help me get my page count up! Help!

RE: Signs of Life?

Thank you, Diann :-)

My home is in Vista. Temecula is a bit outside of my driving range.

If you add a virtual chat room to your write-in, I could join you that way.

RE: Signs of Life?

Hey Jason :-)

We both might pass 100 pages today. I have three secrets to high page count:

1) rock bottom low quality
2) brain dead simplicity
3) refusal to show my script to anyone

It works for me.

RE: Signs of Life?

Temecula's not THAT far from Vista, but I do understand. I will be at a write-in in Franklin Tennessee next week. How's that for crazy?

Virtual chatroom is here: http://www.chatzy.com/708348186892
Password is: script

I'll want you though, my page count is not nearly as impressive as yours and I'm concentrating on writing since I have two week-long back-to-back business trips coming up... sigh.

RE: Signs of Life?

Hey Jim - good tips. :)
My only real secrets are:

1. Having an outline (detailed!) is amazingly useful.
2. Writing with a partner means you only really have to do 50 pages. :D

Still, I think it's only fair since I am writing with a partner that we get our 100 pages before 4/15. We're going to try and do a second draft by 4/30.

Note: planning to have a virtual write-in tomorrow evening, details on the event schedule.

RE: Signs of Life?

Hi Jason :-)

Those are good tips. I'll have to look into the concept of advance planning.

I'll check out that virtual write-in.
