*kicks Celtx and the Page Validator* The Page Validator Lies!

The page validator continuously says that my PDF isn't valid or it has zero pages. I have 124 pages on this thing...so...what's the deal?

If there's a way I can handle this, let me know. If not, what's my alternative way of creating a PDF file from a Celtx document?

Thank you!

I'm having that same problem. I've got a pdf (not from Celtx, but I took my script from Scrivener and pasted it in a word document and then created the pdf) and it says it's not valid or 0 pages. Pretty sure it's just a minor fluke that will be fixed, but you are not alone!

Is there some secret 124-page club that no-one has told me about?

RE: *kicks Celtx and the Page Validator* The Page Validator Lies

To create a PDF from Celtx:

1) Click on the TypeSet tab below your script
2) Wait for that to finish
3) Click on Save PDF above your script

This only works when you're online.

It's working now. It seems that one or more of our tech heroes were up really late last night.

RE: *kicks Celtx and the Page Validator* The Page Validator Lies

It reports the number of pages in the PDF, it seems they can be any size and it will accept them as part (or all) of your script even if they are completely blank.

Just typing in the number of pages like you used to is a lot quicker and just as reliable.

Thank YOU. I thought I was losing my mind. Typically, I work OFF-line and I couldn't figure out what was wrong.
Cheers
