The Gloriously Productive Script-In Marathon ; )

We have Quixotic-hope, Crzygrl, and Kyteroo writing away on our scripts. We all arrived close to 8:30am.

We are all doing very well, haven written, around 24 pages between us, by 11:00. You will notice that I said, gloriously productive. We will see if my 'prophecy' will motivate us to stay productive and finish our scripts by the end of this marathon. I can only hope. lol I'm sure that this time tomorrow, we will be struggling to be productive. lol

The Purple Onion has been very welcoming of us meeting here. There food is divine. So, with no further ado, I shall go back to writing.

Yeah, I keep checking this site to see if anyone has said something new. Then I go back to staring blankly at the screen. I am, however, officially at the quarter-way mark. Granted, I should have been at that point a week and a half ago, but this is a big step forward for me. =)

And I'm almost done with my second large coffee. *sighs* No wonder I just had one of my characters make a pot.

And the few minutes Quixotic_hope and I spent trying in vain to solve 2 french/english crossword puzzles at my website. We gave up.

And the few more minutes it took me to run to my car and grab another pillow for comfort, and run to the 2 used book stores up a couple blocks away in search for a AA book of roadways in the UK. No luck. But I did secure a AA book of Countryside England that has information on plants and things. Alas, no roads, but still dead useful for my script. Now, I have something to add to my scripts - nature they study for Biology. Well, back to work for me.

Just in case anyone needs this,
The Purple Onion is on University ave. at 1301.
You will be driving over what on your right looks like a bridge. The place is directly on your left.
Parking is off-street. Their is meters, but if you go a block off, past the library on 13th and 4th, you will find free parking.

If coming from Fridley, Blaine area, take 35W. Do NOT exit on 280! Instead, continue on 35W all the way to the end of the road, where you will be forced to exit on 4th/ University ave.
Stay in the left lane, and straight ahead to University.
Take a left here (its a one way). Be sure to be in the second from the left lane after turning, or you will be forced to turn left too soon when on University).
Stay in the left lane, and go to 14th ave, so that you can drive past the coffee shop and know where it is.

then, turn left, and go back two blocks to find a parking spot.
Walk to University ave, take a left, and walk to coffee shop.
Any issues in finding it, you can call me at
763-257-6950.

Yes, we're here. If you walk into the shop and look to the right, you'll see us. I'm in a marroon U of M sweatshirt, and Kyteroo has on a teal-ish color shirt. There's some random girl sitting near us, as well. My back is to the door, so I won't see you, but you should still see us.
