TGIO party!

Yes folks, it's over. Not too sure about the 'thank god' part though. This month has seriously rocked.

There will be a party though, as has been mentioned in other threads. Everyone is welcome, whether you hit your 100 pages or not. Frankly, I'm immensely proud of everyone who got as far as starting.

So, party is this Saturday, kicking off around 2:00pm-ish. It's at my house, which does mean coming all the way out to Blacktown, but I am happy to pick up anyone from the train station if they need it.

From there, we'll be moving on to cheer on Cass in The Witches of Eastwick, as mentioned here: http://www.scriptfrenzy.org/eng/node/2006802 . Don't forget to book your ticket if you're joining us!

Comment here if you'll be coming to the party, and I'll PM you my address. Hope to see a lot of you there!

RE: TGIO party!

WOO! This month rocked, I only wish I could have made it to more write-ins! I hope some of y'all are interested in getting together now and then over the next couple of months that I'm here, I need some incentive to keep working on my (somewhat abandoned, as can be told by my pagecount) musical.

I definitely want to go to the party. I will need to be back at the theatre for no later than 7pm, though, so I can get into costume/makeup/etc. Is there any chance that one of y'all wouldn't mind leaving early to drive me back? It wouldn't put you THAT much ahead of everybody else anyway, and I could stay for significantly longer (otherwise I'll probably have to leave at, like, 5 or 5:30. Maybe earlier depending on trains/busses.)

RE: TGIO party!

I'll come with bells on! I'll be rocking up a bit after 3pm. I won't be so stupidly tired, either. =)
Cass - I'm happy to take you up, if no one else has offered already. That'll give me incentive to clean out my car!

RE: TGIO party!

THANK YOU JEAN!! It was totally awesome to see you again. Thank you again for hosting AND for picking me up from the train station. What an amazing spread you had out there today, too - kept me full until the end of the performance, when I was abruptly hungry again. Go figure.

When we meet up for a write-in I will buy a round of beverages for everyone.

RE: TGIO party!

Oh yes, and thank you again for driving me back to the theatre. I only wish that my being 10 minutes late had been the ONLY problem that evening! (Hell, I'd have taken being half an hour late if it would have magically allowed poor Jonathan not to have broken his wrist. Good lord.)
