First of all WELCOME to 2010 SCRIPT FRENZY!

Some of you are new and have no idea what to expect in April, some of you have probably tried out NaNoWriMo but never the script writing madness that is Screnzy. And some of you are old hats and know each other already.

Regardless of which category you fall into please take the time to post a little something in this thread about who you are and what not.

I'll start.

Time: 1pm
How to get there: If you are driving in then there is parking opposite the entrance that is relatively cheap (especially on Sunday), i'm talking end of Rundle st here. Or simply follow Rundle st to the end and turn left towards north terrace if you're walking. Or wander down North Terrace until you get to the entrance.

So where in the Adelaide/SA region are you? Are you in Adelaide or some other part of SA?

And more importantly, share your chat/website details. MSN, AIM, Twitter, etc. (Obviously if you're not comfortable then don't share them). And be wary of spammers.

For those of you who did NaNoWriMo last year (or in other years) then you might have dropped into our chat room.

Well i'm resurrecting it for Screnzy since it was heaps of fun during NaNo and great for those people who couldn't make it to write-ins. We had sprints (one of which lasted for a few hours), random debates, power struggles, all of which was lots of fun.

You guys can head over there any time and register a username and stuff. I can't promise anyone else will be in there right now though.

What are you writing this year?

Do you know what you are going to be writing in April? (Don't worry if you don't, I'm in same crazy, scary place right now).

Are you writing a screenplay? Television episodes? For radio? Graphic novel? And what genre are you going to be working in?

Will you be setting your work in Adelaide or somewhere slightly more exotic? New York? The Bermuda Triangle? Antarctica maybe?

(For those of you starved for ideas the kick-off might be able to help you out... at this stage i'm looking at the weekend before Screnzy starts so March 28th)
