Yes, I LOVE NCIS too (obviously). Sooo good. Anywho, just wanted to know, do you think it would be really OOC for Gibbs to prank someone? It's on April Fools' Day, not just some random time. He pranks that person by. . . well, I don't want to spoil everything, but it involves hand-cuffs and silly string. L.O.L.

I don't know if you'd call it a spec scirpt since the show is ending/has ended, but I'm writing a Battlestar Galactica script. Still not sure if it's post-series or a fill-in-the-gaps sort story, though. I'll probably look at the finale first, then decide.

I am not doing an NCIS spec, but I, too, love that show. So feel free to bounce any ideas in my direction and I promise to give feedback on them. I will be travelling during April though, so I don't know yet how regularily I will be online.

Actually, I don't see Gibbs doing an April Fools Day prank on anyone, except when he is pranked first and then later gets even when nobody expects it any longer (5 minutes to 12 or so). And only if the prank is ... well, kind of intelligent and not mean. It is more what you would expect to be the last scene in an episode, not so much a place to start from. Tony, on the other hand ... oh, God, I don't even want to imagine having him around on April Fools Day.

Agreed. Tony would be an absolute pain on April Fool's, while Gibbs... he's certainly got a sense of humour, and I can certainly see him exacting revenge for a prank played on him. But I imagine it would be subtle, elaborately planned, and fairly potent. And, of course, reliant on Gibbs' knowledge of the other characters.

Anyway, I'll add my name to the list of NCIS nuts to bounce ideas off. :-)

Yeah, Tony's going to be quite fun to write about. He's going to try to prank everyone, but not *necessarily* succeed. Stuff will most likely backfire. Oh, and Gibbs' old boss, Mike Franks, will make a comeback. Does anyone know what happened on the episode that involved Abby and someone else getting their hands crazy-glued together? What kind of prank would Tony prank Gibbs with-that Gibbs could get revenge for later, of course.

Would it be totally unrealistic for Ducky to get pranked? I want to prank him, and I have the best ideas, but would anyone do that to Ducky? I have Jimmy pranking him once (but Abby gets involved and. . . yeah.)Then I have the rest of the team getting a bunch of rubber ducks and hiding them in various places around his office.

BIG QUESTION: How can Tony prank Gibbs? And how does Gibbs get him back for it?

I'm not doing a spec script, but I'm writing a drama and I'm particularly interested in people writing crime procedurals since they are an interesting challenge to me.

I don't follow NCIS, but I know the major players enough to read a script and get it. I look forward to seeing what this year's spec script writers come up with.
