Hello everyone!

As one of your new Co-MLs for Toronto this year, I just wanted to introduce myself and welcome you all to Script Frenzy. I hope you're as excited as I am!

As Voxel, the other ML, has mentioned, we would like to see Script Frenzy continue to grow and expand in 2009. I sincerely hope you will come out to the events and writing sessions(to be posted shortly).

In the meantime, if anyone has a favorite writing spot, I'd love it if you could post it--and any other suggestions you might have--here!

Hi. I was just wondering if the Toronto site going to be used (calendar and chat?)

As to a favourite writing spot, Little coffee shops are good because they provide both snacks and the much needed Caffeine. But pretty much, anywhere where I can snack and type is an ideal spot for creativity. For NaNo '08 they chose some good places, maybe we could revisit some of those?

Most sites seem to always be downtown. :( Any chance we can shift some of them a bit to the west? Like Mississauga/Brampton? xD I still want to meet up with everyone (again for some people!), but getting a ride an hour's drive away can be tricky. :(

Natalia is having a Miss. writing session on Tuesday (TBA).

We plan to keep the Wednesday writing session a constant. We do plan to use other coffee shops, but the default is Urbana.

As for good spots to write -- I'm finding it ends up being just the odd corners of York U. I'm up on the Keele campus, and there are a bunch of little corners that are out of the way, where I have a plug for my laptop.

*shrug*

If there are other York U students out there, I'd like to meet. . . I meet a few at the Kick-off party, but for the life of me I don't remember names (and for that I'm really sorry).
