Soundtrack Swap?

So I took this idea from the NaNo CD swap, but I really liked it. I think it would be awesome if we swapped soundtracks this year! I'd be more then happy to organise it if you guys are interested!

So what do you think?

Sure I'll participate! I was in a j-pop mix CD swap over at nano a couple years ago and it was really fun.

RE: Soundtrack Swap?

What about a .ZIP or .RAR file swap for those who don't want to actually exchange CDs?

RE: Soundtrack Swap?

If you can explain what a ZIP or RAR file is (never even heard of them) then we could probably put a group together for those file types.

RE: Soundtrack Swap?

ZIP files are really simple to make, you can search wiki-how for a quick tutorial. Basically, you just compress a folder of music files and that way you can attach them in an email, post them in a blog, or make them downloadable on file hosting sites.
I'm in for this, by the way. My soundtracks for writing tend to be mellow for good background music, and I specialize in female artists of the Canadian persuasion.

playlist.com would be easier, IMO.

Of course you could only listen on your computer.

I don't know if I'm too late for this but I would love to do this....I already know how to do the whole zip file thing....there is also sendspace.com where you can upload the entire zip file and then you're given a link. You can use the link to send to people... once u click on it you can download the entire fire right then and there.....

I'd love to do this! But since I'm useless when it comes to computers, I'd prefer to do it the oldfashioned way - by mail. I'll PM you and hope it's not too late! ;)

RE: Soundtrack Swap?

Okies I'm going to post the link for any one who would like to have my soundtrack for my script called Revenge.... to upload.... it's a zipped file... all you do is click on this link: www.sendspace.com/file/i8yj38 and then you go down to the bottom of the page and click on the download link "Revenge Soundtrack" and it should begin loading onto your computer.... There should be 16 songs....would've been 17 but I'm still in the process of writing the opening song

Leave a message if it doesn't work....Enjoy!
