I don't know if this suggestion will be useful to anyone else, but I thought I might throw it out here just in case.
I'm adapting a book I'm very close to, so I know most of it's content off by heart. That being said, sometimes, when I'm in the thick of things, I need a crucial piece of information. It's always a hassle to fish out my book and find the page I need.
Try googleing your book, or your author with the word 'wiki' after. Instead of clicking on the first wikipedia page to pop up, try scrolling down and see if there is a separate wiki for their works.
These wikis will have separate pages for each character, for details about the book's universe, which would be very helpful when you need info quickly.
For example, I searched 'Tamora Pierce wiki' and found a wiki dedicated to her writings, and I plan on using it during script frenzy.
Hope this helps all you fellow adapters!
