Adaptations of Unusual Things?

For example, my friend and I have been doing a text roleplay over e-mail for months and saving the replies, joking about publishing it as a book. However, Screnzy snuck up and I had no idea, until one day, my friend casually asked, "If this was a movie, what would we call it?"

I thought, "Screnzy fodder!"

So I'm adapting a text roleplay into a movie. Zombie ghosts trying to taser them, threats with a shovel, protagonists beating each other up, and all.

Anyone else adapting something out of the ordinary? For example, a couple years ago, a friend of mine wanted to adapt a poem she had written, but something happened and she couldn't participate.

Boxes of Gobstoppers eaten: 0 (that won't last long)

RE: Adaptations of Unusual Things?

I'm adapting a dream I had about a year ago into my screenplay. I know I've lost almost two days now, but everything I started didn't get anywhere. I found a file on my computer where I wrote about this dream, and I had been meaning to write something on it, but I guess I just never got around to it.

I'm adapting a song called Hey Jane by The Pink Spiders into a screenplay. I'm completely in love with how its turned out. :)
