Anyone doing a animated movie?

I'm not sure if mine really qualifies as a screenplay or a TV script...

But while writing, I'm making the movie as a animated movie. It's amazingly time-consuming, but actually more fun than you'd expect it to be.

But is anyone else making movies intended to be animated?

"Never. Sex has never entered my mind, at any time."

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

I do! :)
Why do you find more time consuming than regular movie script?

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

I've got animals in my story that talk. I haven't decided if it's going to be an animated script or if they're real animals that talk. Humans are also involved and will be saved by the animal characters.

This is my first serious attempt at any type of script writing and I'm excited about how it will pan out.

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

Well, mine could really go either way, but I just figured it would be a lot prettier to imagine animated, specifically as an anime.

It might also have a little something to do with the fact I brainstormed my idea the same day I watched Howl's Moving Castle for the first time. ;-)

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

I'm doing a "rewrite" of Disney's the Princess and the Frog, using the information they released the first time around (Maddie the chambermaid, etc), because I think it would make a more interesting story...

So, yeah, mine's going to be animated, with at least a talking "frog". I don't know if there're going to be any musical numbers, but I think I'll wait until the plot calls for them.

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

I'm not exactly sure if mine could be an anime movie. Though, my people are different sorts of creatures, elfes, warlocks, wolves, vampires, ect. And, a few of my characters change, i mean, they look human, but when pisted off, or when they getted worked up over something they shift into there true form.. I suppose it could be an anime. Whatcha think?

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

One of my "finalist" ideas was an animated film, but when I was testing them all out against my friends/family, my current script won out because it was a little more sci-fi-y. We're all pretty big sci-fi heads.

RE: Anyone doing a animated movie?

I finished a script for an animated movie. I just wrote it like a spec script. If things got silly or over the top, I just wrote it out.
