Maybe that wasn't very clear. And this may not be on the right forum, but I think it might be...
The site says that we need our personal information on the script. But the script is private, isn't it? It won't be used by others, right? Is the information just there to complete the formatting, then?

Yes, the script is private. No one will see more of it than you want them to.
The information is just there to complete the formatting. If you ever want to try to sell your script it needs to have your information and the correct formatting. Since this is about trying to write and hopefully finish your first draft so that you can (if you want) polish up the script and someday try to sell it, the wonderful people who did the writer's resources put those details in so that you know what to do in case you decide to send it off to someone.

Okay, thank you. I thought that was it, but I really wanted to make sure, especially since my script is based on a novel I'm writing and I want it to be private. That's great. Thanks again! :)
